When the screws being conveyed are relatively large, any slight bend or deformation of the tube can cause the screw tip to butt against the tube wall and jam. Likewise, an incorrectly sized tube, a material that is too soft, or an unreasonable tube-layout route can all lead to internal jamming. When the screws are small—especially when their length-to-diameter ratio is low—they tend to tumble inside the tube, directly affecting the stability of the entire automatic feeder and increasing maintenance costs. In addition, the wear resistance of the feed tube influences its service life. Therefore, the quality of the feed tube is extremely important.
